Pregnancy and early parenthood can be some of the most beautiful and transformative experiences in life. But let's be real—it can also be really hard. In fact, it can be a scary, lonely, and even traumatic time. From the moment you start thinking about expanding your family through those first few years of early parenthood, a lot of complicated feelings can arise. As a therapist with advanced training in perinatal mental health, I understand the unique challenges that come with this chapter of life. Whether you're struggling with anxiety about getting pregnant, navigating the complexities of pregnancy, or feeling overwhelmed in the early days of parenting, you are not alone and you can feel better.

Using evidence-based techniques tailored to the perinatal period, we'll develop practical strategies to manage symptoms, heal, and reconnect to yourself. You deserve a safe space to process without fear of judgement.

A Note About Birth Trauma

Was your birth unexpected, scary, or feel very out of your control? Sometimes birth can be traumatic for a myriad of reasons. This may look like flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, fear, being on alert for safety, wanting to control things, or physical responses such as panic, rapid heart rate, or fidgeting. This is often not discussed during pregnancy and minimized afterwards though it is fairly common and very difficult. I have specialized training in trauma therapy that can be useful in helping you process and heal from the trauma that was birth.
